Exteriors
Villa Gabbialini is a very special independent villa in Chianti. Located in the Edera estate composed of woods, grasslands, creeks and a large natural pond. The 62 hectares land is characterized by beautiful species of wildlife among which are deer and hares. It is not uncommon to find one of them grazing while walking through the woods and the meadows of the estate. Here you will find the perfect mountain biking, hiking, and jogging ground.
Additionally the hills surrounding Villa Gabbialini are covered with olive groves and vineyards. Here sunsets and sunrises are just spectacular while the sun rays beam through the hills changing the colors of the leaves and the cultivated fields.
The geographic location is also excellent. Florence is just 40 kilometers away, while Siena is 50 kilometers south. A multitude of small towns such as Castelfiorentino, SanGimignano and Volterra are all within one hour driving. The seaside is also within one hour as the four lane freeway leads to Pisa and its beautiful coast.
The garden of the villa is completely private with outdoor dining furniture, a barbecue and sun beds around the private swimming pool. The location of the pool is very panoramic right besides the villa. Here you will enjoy a full day of sun exposure perfect for sun tanning or relaxing under the parasols provided to you.
Interiors
The interiors of Villa Gabbialini are accessible from the private garden. The door opens up on the large living room. The huge arch French door-window fills the room with sunlight, opening up on the marvelous landscape and the swimming pool. The living room is equipped with large comfortable sofas, satellite TV set and a working fireplace.
The brick arch divides the dining room from the living room. Here the table for 6 people is set right in front of another entrance from the garden and faces the entrance to the kitchen. In the kitchen you will find all the necessary equipment for a perfect self-catered vacation in Tuscany, such as dishwasher, washer, fridge and electric oven.
Near the stairs to the first floor is a full bathroom with shower.
On the first floor are located two double bedrooms with queen-size beds and one double twin bedroom. Each bedroom is finely furnished with great detail and particular attention to the quality of materials. The fabrics are very rich. The rustic style of the entire villa is found in the wood beam ceilings and cotto floors that you will find in each bedroom.
On this floor you will also find two additional full bathrooms with shower. All bathrooms have been decorated with country style tiles and feature modern appliances.
For additional comfort the entire villa is air conditioned.
