Villa Valdichiana is an authentic Tuscany-style retreat. Located close to the little villagge of Castiglion Fiorentino and few kilometers from the famous town of Cortona, Villa Valdichiana offers a perfect place from where to explore Tuscany and Umbria.
Recently renovated to restore its original style, Villa Valdichiana is also elegantly furnished with typical Tuscany-style furnitures. The big swimming pool facing the villa offers to its guests a corner of paradise where to relax.
The villa also has a large piece of land called the Tartufaia as it is a truffle-hunting ground. Here you have orchards, woods, and grasslands to relax and barbecue under a gazebo.
Villa Valdichiana also offers an outside barbecue by the villa. The villa, thanks to its location, is ideal for those who wish to travel throughout Tuscany and Umbria. Some close famous locations are: Arezzo (20min), Cortona (15 min), Montepulciano (25 min), Pienza (40min), Siena (40min), Florence (1h), Perugia (50 min), Assis (1,10h), Orvieto (1,20min)
Among the many activities that you can enjoy at Villa Valdichiana are, wine tasting, horseback riding, bicycle tours, golfing and hiking trails.
In addition, you can spend a relaxing day pampering yourself at one of the many nearby Roman thermal spa retreats at Rapolano or Chianciano Terme.
Interiors
Villa Valdichiana is divided into three elegant apartments with three indipendent entrances. The villa can be rented as a whole or depending on the period of the year it is possible to rent single apartments.
When renting the villa as a single unit you will enjoy all three apartments sharing wonderful outdoors while keeping the privacy of your own living space. Apartment Artista offers plenty of space and a long table for 22 people to accommodate large parties. Two of the three fully equipped kitchens are on the ground floor with direct access to the shaded loggia. Therefore your cookouts can also be prepared in a proper kitchen with all amenities and wood ovens.
The apartments display wonderful hardwood floors that make for a unique homely environment. Many sofas and armchairs are present throughout the villa to provide relax to each guest. All bedrooms have wonderful bathrooms, of which some have hydromassage showers and hydromassage bathtubs.
The bedrooms of Rondine have air conditioning, as this apartment is on the first floor. From the terrace of this apartment you will have wonderful panoramic views of Tuscany.
