A recently created winery, Tavernelle hamlet is the perfect location for families with children. The hamlet is in touch with the fascinating Tuscan nature, art and history. Here everyone will enjoy the life at the farm and taste the excellent oil and wines produced.

The estate is located in the heart of Tuscany surrounded by open countryside, just 5 km from Barberino Val d’Elsa halfway between Florence and Siena. There you will find all major services and main roads to the most important cities of the region. Your stay at the hamlet altogether with daytrips will enable you to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape with its breathtaking scenery of medieval villages, rolling hills, woodlands and vineyards.

From here you can easily reach very important cities such as Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and Certaldo.


All rooms are located within the large estate in old refurbished farmhouses dating back to the 18th century and can accommodate up to 40 guests. All accommodations are very private and some can be joined to accommodate large groups.

Look for complete relax at Tavernelle Hamlet! The swimming pool is very panoramic and comfortably accommodates all guests at the hamlet. Here the peaceful rest on sun beds surrounded by a unique environment donate a Zen-like inner peace. If you love sports, you can hike the property or ride a provided mountain bike in the open countryside far away from cars. For indoor activity the property offers a professional billiard.

The owners also provide wine tasting and oil tasting directly on the property from Monday through Friday, guided tours to art cities and local artisans, and cooking classes on site. All these services are extra and require prearrangement.

 
Interiors

Upon arrival at your accommodation in Tuscany you will find a welcome basket waiting for you at the property including wine and refreshments. Each accommodation also includes heating, air conditioning and all utilities including wireless Internet connection. A private phone line and satellite TV set is provided in each accommodation. It is also possible to have breakfast service upon request at extra charge.
At the reception desk and in the apartments you will find useful information regarding the best local restaurants, events and traditional festivals.

Tavernelle Hamlet has a total of 13 accommodations between apartments and rooms. Some have a private kitchen while others do not have kitchen facilities.
The apartments Michelangelo, Donatello, Masaccio and Leonardo can be rent either separately or all together for groups up to 10 people.
 
8 apartments have an independent entrance while 5 have access through internal communal stairs. Some apartments have direct access on to the patio on the ground floor and only 4 apartments can accommodate up to 4 people, while the majority is for 2 people and can have one extra bed added.
All apartments are superbly furnished with original antiques from the Tuscan tradition. The attention to the detail is very high and all amenities are in perfect working condition. Two kitchens are fully-equipped with modern amenities, while all other are kitchenettes equipped with practical hide-away components to keep the ambient always tidy. All rooms and apartments have en suite bathrooms with either a shower or a bathtub. One of the apartments is also wheelchair accessible.
