Villa Michelangelo, a unique private villa in Tuscany built in the XVII century, today is a wonderful country residence full of modern and traditional comforts. The villa was recently restored preserving its original grandeur and attention to the detail with particular care to creating modern comforts. Set on the hills between Siena and Florence, the villa enjoys a splendid central location on the Tuscan land. From the terrace and windows of Villa Michelangelo you will gaze at enchanting panoramic views of the gently rolling countryside.
Villa Michelangelo is easily reached by car from the international airports of Florence (45 km.) and Pisa (75 km) through the A1, the principal Italian highway artery. You will be just a short drive away from cities such as Siena, Florence and Volterra.
Villa Michalengelo has a large garden all around, with private parking, barbecue, and the large panoramic swimming pool overlooking the countryside. The gate entrance is shared with the owners who live a short distance away from the Villa.
Interiors
The interiors of the villa have been painstakingly and finely furnished. Each living environment is sunny and large, furnished with antique furniture, author paintings and original oriental carpets.
This Tuscan villa in Chianti has five bedrooms with air conditioning, satellite TV, and private telephone line. The rooms are distributed between the ground and the first floors. Two bedrooms are double and the other three have two twin beds each; all bedrooms are masterfully decorated with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture. All bedrooms have private or en-suite well-appointed bathrooms with shower or Jacuzzi bathtub. One double twin bedroom also features an exclusive French window opening onto the garden of the villa.
The ground floor opens up with a very large lounge decorated with tasteful traditional features, a fireplace in addition to a formal large dining table. Here you will be able to enjoy gathering around a delicious Tuscan meal, either self-catered or prepared by a chef at the villa. The wine selection of Villa Michelangelo features some among the greatest Tuscan wines.
The large fully-equipped kitchen has all the necessary cooking amenities and its design is loyal to the Tuscan tradition, full of old-fashioned charm.
On the first floor you will discover the game room large pool table, and a card table.
Villa Michelangelo is the perfect for excursions or day trips to celebrated small towns and cities in the vicinities. While at Villa Michelangelo you won't be able to miss Certaldo, San Gimignano, Poggibonsi, Colle Val d'Elsa and milestones such as Florence, Siena, Volterra, Pisa or Cortona, all located within one hour from Villa Michelangelo in Tuscany.
